LONG ISLAND, NY — Voters in New York's 8th Senate District will see an incumbent challenged as they head to the polls on Nov. 5.
The candidates:
- Alexis Weik (Republican)
- Francis Dolan (Democrat)
Incumbent Alexis Weik, of Sayville, was first elected in 2020 and was re-elected in 2022 with 69.3 percent of the vote, according to Ballotpedia.
