Police Release Photos of Man Who Robbed LI Stop & Shop

Suffolk Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who robbed a Stop & Shop earlier this month.

According to police, a man wearing a surgical mask and latex gloves demanded money from an employee at the customer service desk at the Stop & Shop located at 5701 Sunrise Highway, shortly after 8 p.m. on Nov. 3.

The man was described as approximately 6-foot to 6-foot-2, about 225 pounds with blue eyes and a dark beard. He was wearing a black T-shirt, jeans, white sneakers, glasses and a baseball cap.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
