Police Seeking Suffolk Bank Robber

Police are asking for the public's help to track him down. More photos inside the story.

Suffolk Police are asking for the public's help to find a bank robber.

According to police, the man (pictured above and below) entered the Capital One bank located at 4110 Veterans Memorial Highway in Bohemia on Jan. 14 at 9:43 a.m., approached a teller and presented a note demanding cash.

The teller complied with the man’s demands and gave him cash from the drawer. The man fled on foot eastbound on Veterans Highway and then southbound on Corporate Drive.

The robber was described as white, between 25 and 30 years old, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8, with a medium build, dark hair and a beard. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, sneakers, a black Nuggets hat and was carrying a backpack.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
