RV Bursts Into Flames Near Long Island Home

No one was injured as an RV caught fire between a home and garage in Sayville.

An RV parked between a home and garage in Sayville burst into flames early Wednesday morning.

No one was injured in the camper fire, which slowly spread near the house before the West Sayville Fire Department extinguished it.

The house sustained minor heat damage and the garage was untouched, according to fire officials.

"Due to the camper being parked next to the garage and house the first engine quickly shot water via the deck gun to slow the spread of fire to the house while the hand lines were stretched," the department said on Facebook.
