Sayville Chamber Launches Membership Drive

The Greater Sayville Chamber of Commerce has launched a drive to boost membership.

New members and renewal members will get 10 percent off their membership fee if they join before the new year.

Membership types include business, nonprofit, and resident.

According to the chamber, "consumers are more likely to do business with a company that belongs to the local Chamber of Commerce."

National research shows when small businesses are members of their local chambers, they are 49% more likely to think favorably of it and are 80% more likely to purchase goods or services from the company in the future," according to the chamber.

Being a member of the chamber includes numerous benefits such as promotions, ribbon-cutting ceremonies, business listings, networking, support and representation.

The chamber holds monthly meetings the second Tuesday at 7 p.m., with officer elections in November.
