The Sayville Fire Department will transform one of its fire engine into a new sleigh for Santa.
On Saturday, Dec. 22, the department will host its annual Santa Ride, escorting Santa on their "Shiny Red Fire Trucks" through the streets of Sayville.
The ride will stop to meet school children at the Lincoln Avenue Elementary School from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. and the Sunrise Drive Elementary School from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m.

Children are encouraged to bring their Christmas list and to take pictures with Santa.
Cookies and hot chocolate will be served.
