Sayville Running Company To Hold 10-Mile Run To Brewery

Proceeds from run will benefit local organizations.

The Sayville Running Company will host a 10-mile run to the Blue Point Brewery on Jan. 19 at 8:30 a.m.

Runners will go through Patchogue, Blue Point, and Bayport on a United States Track and Field certified course.

The top three male and top three female overall and top three male and top three female masters receive unique decorated Awards

Top three males and females in each of the following age groups: 21-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 -79, 80 and over, and top male and female wheelchair racers receive Blue Point pint glass awards.

The Awards Ceremony will take place in a heated tent on the grounds of the Brewery

Proceeds from the event will go to the following organizations:

  • BULA (Better Understanding of Life in Africa) to support its efforts to improve the educational opportunities of African children living in poverty.
  • Patchogue Medford Youth & Community Services: Serving the needs of local residents
  • William's Warriors: Providing children with cancer with artistic programs

Registration ends Jan. 5 at 6:00 p.m.
