Sayville's Jack Coan Scores Twice In Yankee Stadium Bowl Game
Check out the two touchdowns below.

Jack Coan thought he'd only play four football games this season for the University of Wisconsin due to redshirt rules.
But after two injuries, Coan, a Sayville resident, found out he'd be the starting quarterback against Miami in the Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium.
“Obviously I thought about (the redshirt) once they told me I was going to be starting,” Coan told the News-Herald. "Honestly, I’m thankful that I’m starting this game. I think it’s important for the senior class to go out on top. They’ve been through a lot and they’ve done a lot for this program, and anything I can do to help them, I’m going to do, so just going to give everyone my all. … This is definitely not a meaningless game."

Because Coan had to fill in for the Badgers, he will lose his redshirt, which will result in one less year of eligibility - a scenario that could hurt Wisconsin if Coan wins the starting job next year.
In high school, Coan set Long Island records, passing for 9,787 yards and throwing 128 touchdowns. He also rushed for 2,551 yards and scored 33 touchdowns on the ground. He was named the top quarterback in Suffolk County three times.
