Sign Up For Free Narcan And CPR Training

The Community Ambulance Company is offering free Narcan and CPR training.

The Community Ambulance Company is offering free Narcan and Hands Only CPR training on June 2.

The training will run from 9 to 11 a.m. and will cover how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose by using intra-nasal Naloxone (Narcan) and hands only CPR.

It is being co-sponsored by Suffolk County Legislator Bill Lindsay.

The Narcan demonstration, lecture, hands on training and hands only CPR class will be held at the Community Ambulance Company at 420 Lakeland Avenue in Sayville, second floor meeting room.

- Each participant will be provided with a take home Narcan kit.
- Light breakfast will be served
- The Great South Bay Coalition and Youth Enrichment Services (YES) will be in hand to provide a short lecture on prevention strategies, and provide tips for how these strategies can be used in the home, in the community, and in the schools to reduce youth substance use
