Uncle Giuseppe's Expands On Long Island
Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace, an Italian-inspired grocery store, is expanding on Long Island with a new store slated to open this year.
BOHEMIA, NY — Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace is expanding on Long Island.
The Italian-inspired grocery store is on track to open a new location in Bohemia "in Q4 of 2025," Nick Renna, Uncle Giuseppe's marketing manager, told Patch.
The new grocery store will open in the space formerly occupied by Babies R Us in the Sayville Plaza Shopping Center on Sunrise Highway.

After opening in 2001, this will be the chain’s eighth location on Long Island, following others in Massapequa, Smithtown, Melville, East Meadow, Port Jefferson Station, Port Washington and Babylon. A new store in Greenvale is slated to open in early 2026, while a new Levittown location is set to open late next year.
The store also has several locations in New Jersey.
