A man house-sitting for a resident on Walworth Avenue contacted cops on Thursday after finding a broken windowpane near the backdoor. Police entered the home and saw it appeared to be ransacked—"the home was in complete disarray," according to police reports.
But the house-sitter informed cops the home is always like this, police said. Cops called in the Scarsdale Fire Inspector, who noted the mess presents possible safety issues. The homeowner is out of the country until later this month, cops said.
