2nd generation children of immigrants -a research study on mental health impacts --link to interview below

Ellice Lim is a junior at Edgemont High School and a second-place award winner at the 2025 Somers Science Fair. Her science research focuses on the mental health challenges experienced by second-generation children of immigrants, with particular attention to the role of parental support among second-generation teens from Asian and Latino immigrant families in New York.
As a second-generation Korean American, Ellice has observed the unique challenges faced by second-generation teens through both her own experiences and those of her peers. These observations served as a primary motivation for her research. Her research paper and findings were discussed on the Town of Greenburgh cable show Solving Problems.
