Car Break-in Costs Scarsdale Woman Over $1K: Cops
A woman had her car window smashed and laptop stolen, police said.

A Scarsdale woman had her car's rear passenger window smashed and her $800 laptop swiped while parked in a White Plains garage, cops said.
The alleged theft occurred last Thursday at 6 p.m., police said, on the fifth floor of a Martine Avenue parking garage.
There are no security cameras in that portion of the structure, cops told Patch. The car had been parked there since about 9 a.m. that morning; the damage to the window totaled $500.
