Elmsford Voters To Pick Village Justice Tuesday

ELMSFORD, NY — Voters in Elmsford will have the opportunity Tuesday to elect a village justice.

The only race the village is filling is for one justice position, and there is no one running for the job.

Voters who show up at the polls, or who submit absentee ballots, will have to write in the name of the person they want to see in the position.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Poll locations are:

• District 27: Village Hall, 15 South Stone Ave.
• Districts 26 and 28: Village Community Senior Center, 10 North Stone Ave.

Deadlines according to the Westchester County Board of Elections:

• Monday is the last day for an applicant or agent to apply in person at the Board of Elections for the General Village Election absentee ballot.
• Tuesday is the last day to postmark the General Village Election absentee ballot by mail. The ballot must be received by the Board of Elections no later than March 28.
• Tuesday is the last day to deliver the General Village Election absentee ballot in person to the Board of Elections or at any poll site throughout the county, by the close of the polls on election day.
