Family members in Ukraine also fighting to preserve democracy and freedoms

I met Yuriy Y. Kryvoruchko for the first time at the Elmsford Little League opening game in April. Yuriy helped make opening day special by playing the Saxophone for the hundreds of attendees. Yuriy recently graduated from Alexander Hamilton High School in Elmsford. He is entering the US Navy Academy on 27 June 2024 - a very prestigious honor that required Congressional nominations. In addition to the USNA, Yuriy was also accepted into other military academies such as USAFA, USMMA and USCGA.

What makes Yuriy’s life so interesting is that his entire family is from Ukraine. Many members of his family are currently in Ukraine fighting for democracy and their country's independence. Yuriy’s father was also serving in Ukrainian Navy. Yuriy is passionate about preserving freedoms in Ukraine and throughout the world and wants to make sure that we continue to enjoy all that democracy has to offer.

I recently interviewed Yuriy on my cable TV show. The interview can be seen by clicking onto the interview below. We hope that Yuriy will be safe and thank him for his anticipated service to our nation.
