Lottery Opens For New Affordable Apartments At Scarsdale's One Dromore

SCARSDALE, NY — Yet another new chance for renters to combat the ongoing affordable housing crisis is here for a lucky few in a newly constructed building.

Westchester Residential Opportunities has announced that One Dromore Apartments, a newly constructed, four-story building located at 1 Dromore Road in Scarsdale, will have 45 affordable units.

Amenities in the all electric, passive house certified building will include a community room with kitchen, a laundry room, a fitness center, a lounge/library, EV charging stations, and free WiFi.

The building is walking distance to Central Ave. shopping and public transportation.

Affordable units will be available to those earning less than 80 percent of the area average monthly household income.

The deadline for applications is June 4, 2024, at 4 p.m. Selections will be made by lottery on June 19, 2024, at 11 a.m. Sending more than one application will disqualify you. Applications received after the deadline will be waitlisted.
