TIPS ON GETTING A CIVIL SERVICE JOB—LINK BELOW

This is a stressful time of year for those residents out of work. I frequently get calls from unemployed constituents seeking help finding a job.

Earlier this year the Greenburgh Library sponsored a forum for residents of out work. The forum was well attended. Frank Celentano, who works for the Westchester County Human Resources department, provided attendees with fantastic tips how to prepare for civil service exams and how to navigate the government hiring process. I know how stressful being out of work is. If you have any questions, you can always call me on my cell phone: 914-438-1343. I’m also happy to meet with residents to share job hunting advice. Don’t get discouraged. Keep trying. I have met residents out of work for many months—only to land a great job.

Would welcome suggestions from constituents as to what government isn’t doing that we should do to help those out of work. My e mail is pfeiner@greenburghny.com.

PAUL FEINER
