"The essential work of the Scarsdale Public Schools is to provide a world-class education, ensuring our students are well prepared for their next level of education. We understand that to accomplish this, we must create an environment of belonging where student well-being is a key focus, and students have opportunities to flourish both inside and outside the classroom environment," the school district said. "Thus, we hold as a core value the concept of educating the whole child. These broad objectives serve as an important decision-making lens, especially with respect to our budget. Ultimately, the budget is a means to an end, supporting the work required to meet the needs of our learners. The proposed 2025-26 budget outlines how we plan to fund the program, services, and poeple who make a Scarsdale education come to life for our students."
