The voters decided on the $191,504,833 Scarsdale schools budget and which candidates will serve on the board of education.

SCARSDALE, NY — The ballots are in and voters have decided on the 2025 budget and school board.
Here are the unofficial results.
The proposed Scarsdale schools spending plan of $191,504,833 passed, with 586 voting yes and 160 voting no.

The new budget is 3.55 percent higher than the current budget.
The tax levy is expected to be increased by 3.4 percent.

"This year's budget process was a challenging one. We are grateful to our community for their input during the process, and strong community support of our students through the adoption of this budget," Superintendent Drew Patrick said. "This budget will allow our schools to continue to reach the high standards we expect for our students while staying within the tax cap. We look forward to continuing to provide an exceptional educational experience for our students in keeping with our strategic plan priorities, Learning, Living, Leading."
Three school board seats were up for election. Colleen Brown (602 votes), Suzie Hahn (634 votes), and Laura Ying Liu (615 votes) were elected to those seats.
