Scarsdale Teen Has Car Window Smashed, iPod Swiped, Say Cops

The break-in and theft took place at Scarsdale High School, police said.

A teen at Scarsdale High School had his car window smashed, his iPod pilfered and his vehicle vandalized last week, Scarsdale police said.

The teen, 16, returned to his car—registered to his father—last Tuesday afternoon on Brewster Road to find right front window shattered, and his iPod Touch missing, cops told Patch.

Police also said someone had dented one of the car doors, possibly with a screwdriver.

Cops canvassed the area, but uncovered no leads. No arrests have been made; the incident is being treated as a petty larceny and criminal mischief in the third degree, police said, a misdemeanor and felony, respectively.

The car is a 2012 Hyundai.
