Scarsdale Board Of Ed and BOT Meetings Tonight

Tonight is a busy meeting night for Scarsdale residents.

The Village Board of Trustees and the Scarsdale Board of Education are both meeting tonight.

The Village BOT is meeting at 8:00 p.m. at Village Hall. The agenda includes a public hearing on taxi cab licenses; an expense and revenue report; and a resolution on police department commendations. The BOT will be honoring several members of the Scarsdale Police Department for their service tonight.

Over at Scarsdale High School tonight, the Board of Education is holding a special meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the Board Conference Room and a public meeting at 8:00 p.m. in Room 172.

On the BOE agenda, there is a resolution to repair the stairs at Scarsdale Middle School; take action on a resolution for funding for the Teen Center; and approve close to $4,000 in gifts to the schools.

The next Scarsdale BOE meeting is set for October 9 at the Edgewood Elementary School in the multi-purpose room. There is an open, community session at 7:15 p.m. that night.

The next Village Board of Trustees meeting is set for October 9 at 8:00 p.m. in Village Hall.
