Scarsdale: Celebrate Singles Awareness Day
A few, fun tips if you are single on Valentine's Day.

If your Valentine is yet to be found–fear not. You have a whole list of things to celebrate today, V-Day, February 14, also known to many as Singles Awareness Day.
It’s great to be single on Valentine's Day. You don’t have to please anyone or care about anyone’s opinion of what you want to do. Go see that cheesy movie that you’d never go to on a date at the City Center 15: Cinema de Lux in White Plains. Or get a group of friends together and go to a fun restaurant or bar in Scarsdale such as, Chat American Grill or the Garth Road Inn.
Up for meeting people? Try a speed dating event or if you want to take the plunge into the world of online dating, sign up for a dating site. You can always delete your account should the Match.com world not work out for you.

Getting dressed up to go to a Valentine's Day party, or Anti-Valentine's Day party is fun, but sometimes it’s even better to dress down and relax at home. Get takeout from Chop Stix, whip up a cocktail, put on a mud mask, read magazines and watch your favorite movies, shows and DVR'd marathons.
Another reason to celebrate: nobody yells at you about your credit card bill! Treat yourself to a facial, massage or mani/pedi at one the many spas in Scarsdale or head to The Westchester and splurge on a new outfit.

Best of all—you don’t have to split a bottle of wine with anyone. Pick up your favorite beverage at Zachy's or Vintology and toast to treating yourself today.
