How did you come up with the name?

I wanted a descriptive name for my business, so that parents didn’t have to work too hard to figure out my offering. And I wanted the word Westchester in there as I am local.

I am Edgemont mom. I want to benefit the kids in my community.

What business are you in?

The business of developing a confident kid.

What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?

Getting the word out in a gentle manner, so my community doesn’t feel like I’m “selling.”

What’s been your proudest achievement since opening?

My proudest achievement is when enrollment will have reached its max. Until then, I am just working hard to get there.

How does your business give back to the community?

I give back by helping children get comfortable in their own skin.
