1 Hurt In Crash Monday Morning On LIE In Yaphank: Police
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Suffolk police say.
YAPHANK, NY — A man was hurt after a two-vehicle crash on the Long Island Expressway in Yaphank on Monday morning, Suffolk police said.
A man was driving a Mitsubishi westbound on the expressway, just west of Exit 67, when his vehicle struck the rear of a Honda CRV, which overturned at around 7:30 a.m., according to police.
The man driving the CRV was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, however, the driver of the Mitsubishi was not hurt, police said.
