3 Injured In Suffolk County Transit Bus Crash Monday Morning: PD
The crash took place in Mastic Beach Monday morning, police say.
MASTIC BEACH, NY — Three people were injured in a Mastic Beach bus crash Monday morning, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, a Suffolk County bus was traveling northbound on Whittier Drive and approaching a bus stop when the driver of a 2004 Toyota heading in the same direction struck the rear end of the bus at 7:57 a.m.
The driver of the Toyota and two passengers on the bus were transported to area hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
