Arson Detectives Probing Vehicle Fire At Shirley Home: Police
All of the residents of the home were able to escape to safety, Suffolk police say.

SHIRLEY, NY — Arson Squad detectives are investigating a fire broke out in a vehicle at a Shirley home late Tuesday night, Suffolk police said.
It started inside of a vehicle on Windus Drive in Shirley just before 11 p.m., and the vehicle became fully engulfed, according to police.
All of the home's residents escaped to safety, police said.

Wednesday morning a pickup truck could be seen partially burnt and portion of a fence melted from the heat of the fire.
The cause of the fire has not been determined, according to a police spokesperson.
