Brush Fire Breaks Out In Suffolk: Police

The fire broke out at around 6:26 p.m. on Wednesday, Suffolk police said.

RIDGE, NY — A brush fire broke out in Ridge Wednesday night, drawing area firefighters, Suffolk police said.

A report of a brush fire on Forest Trail was called in to police at around 6:27 p.m., according to police spokeswoman.

In addition to firefighters, police from the 7th Precinct in Shirley also responded.
