Arson Squad Investigating Ridge House Fire: Police

It started at around 3 a.m., Suffolk police say.

RIDGE, NY — Arson Squad detectives are investigating a house fire in Ridge, a spokesman said Thursday.

The fire broke out at the Middle Country Road house at around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, but no one was hurt, according to police.

A fire also broke out at Luca Restaurant in Stony Brook at around 3 a.m., police said.

The fire ripped into part of the roof in the back of the restaurant and first responders had to work quickly to stop it from spreading, News 12 reported.

A notice from the Town on Brookhaven's Building Department has been placed at the restaurant structure saying it has been deemed unsafe, according to the outlet.
