Man Apparently Stabbed In Hand At A Grocery Store In Mastic Beach: Police
He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, Suffolk police say.
MASTIC BEACH, NY — A man was taken to a local hospital after apparently being stabbed in the hand in Mastic Beach on Tuesday afternoon, Suffolk police.
Officers responded to a grocery store on Neighborhood Road at around 2:47 p.m. after a 911 caller reported a man was stabbed in the hand, according to the police. It is not clear of it happened inside or outside the store. A police spokesperson said it has been undetermined and that the victim refused help from officers.
The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
