Man Struck, Hurt By Hit-And-Run Driver In North Shirley: Police
The vehicle bolted from the scene at around 7:25 a.m., Suffolk police say.
NORTH SHIRLEY, NY — A man was struck and hurt by a hit-and-run driver in North Shirley on Thursday morning, Suffolk police said.
The man was walking westbound on Moriches-Middle Island Road, and then crossed Rowlinson Drive when he was struck by a vehicle that bolted from the scene at around 7:25 a.m., according to police.
He was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk in East Patchogue for treatment of minor injuries, police said.

The 7th Precinct's Crime Section in Shirley is investigating, according to police.
