Mastic Beach Man Arrested After Threatening Roommate With Machete: Police
He was charged with second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor, Suffolk police say.
MASTIC BEACH, NY — A Mastic Beach man was arrested Sunday after Suffolk police say he threatened his roommate with a machete.
The 46-year-old threatened his roommate with a machete and also verbally threatened him at a home on Magnolia Drive, and officers were called to the house at around 9:30 a.m., a police spokesperson said.
Neighbors on social media reported a large police presence around the home.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, court records show.
