BRIDGE TO BEACH 5K RUN

The beautiful ocean and white sand beach at Smith Point County Park offers a scenic backdrop for the 5K Run for Literacy. We are pleased to announce this year’s race is taking place in-person, and virtually, on September 11, 2021. For more information and to register, visit our registration page.

SUMMER WITH US journals are back! Use your journal to document all the fun you have this summer- doodle, start a diary, list the books you read, collect stickers, or keep track of the library programs you attend. That’s called the wrack line, and it’s full of interesting things that you probably never even knew were there! Join a Fire Island National Seashore Park Ranger at FINS Smith Point to learn about the fascinating aquatic life that washes up on shore. Registration begins on 8/12.
