Punta Cana On The Beach Set To Open On Mastic Beach Waterfront
The owner promises there will be great vibes and a whole new flavor at the Dominican-inspired venture at the former Mastic Beach Snack Bar.
MASTIC BEACH, NY — The owner of the former Mastic Beach Snack Bar announced this week in a Facebook post that the location will be back up and running this coming summer season, but with a new name and exciting improvements.
"We’re thrilled to kick off the season with some fresh changes," wrote Frank Minaya. "Formerly known as The Mastic Beach Snack Bar, we’re now Punta Cana On The Beach — same great vibes, now with a whole new flavor."
Minaya described the restaurant as having a taste of the Caribbean but "with an American Twist."

The restaurant will blend the "bold, authentic flavors" of Dominican cuisine with classic American favorites to bring a "one-of-a-kind menu," he said, adding, "From traditional Dominican dishes to creative fusion bites, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this season."
"We’ve made some exciting upgrades from last season to make your experience even better, and we can’t wait for you to see what’s new," he said.
