  1. Photo Gallery: The Mastic Beach Ambulance Company hosted a training, Pet CPR. Attendees learned how to procedure safety techniques to save and help dogs and cats during emergencies. Check some photos of the event here. (Mastic Ambulance Company)
  2. For those who want to serve the community this Saturday, come to the MMS Community Library to participate in the "Community Service - Color A Smile." The group will meet at the Mastic Recreation Center at noon to color premade coloring sheets donated to Color A Smile. The program is for kids in grades 6 through 12. (MMSC Library)
  3. The trial for the murder of 8-year-old Thomas Valva has begun in Riverhead. Valva was left in an unheated garage in January 2020. NYPD officer Michael Valva and his then-fiancé Angela Pollina are facing murder charges and can receive 25 years in prison if convicted. (Long Island News 12)
