Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Community Library will host a guided visit to the Rose Family Cemetery on Sept. 14 at 1 p.m. Our local historian librarian, Brad Shupe, will lead the group into deep history facts of the site, which is located at Jareds Path in South Brookhaven town. 2. AHRC Suffolk's Annual Superhero Fun kicks off Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Smith Point County Park. Run/walk for a good cause in support of those with intellectual disabilities. (Patch Events)
3. Save the date for the Moriches Chamber of Commerce Halloween parade, "March of the Goblins," on Oct. 31! The event starts at 4:30 p.m. on Main Street. Kiddos will be treated with goodies by local businesses. (Moriches Chamber of Commerce)
