  1. Keith Schoelermann, 29, of Mastic Beach, was arrested on Thursday for having child pornography. Schoelermann is registered as a level 2 sex offender and will be facing charges in First District Court in Central Islip. (Mastic Patch)
  2. Mastics Moriches Shirley Community Library is hosting a "Get Crafty: Shrinky Dinks" program in the teen area on Tuesday, May 24 at 4 p.m. Teens will include artwork in cool charms for jewelry keychains or pins. No registration is required. (MMSCL)
  3. The William Floyd Home Design & Carpentry Academy teamed up with Habitat for Humanity for a day to help with a house being built in Riverhead. Teachers Matthew Van Horne and Adam Tesoro led students to work on a shed that they made during the school year. (LongIsland.com)
