1. For those who want to honor the memory of those who lost their lives on 9/11, special ceremonies will be hosted throughout Suffolk County on the 21st Anniversary of 9/11. Check out locations and times of events. (Patch)
2. The 21st annual Smith Point Bridge Run for Literacy kicks off on Saturday. The 5K starts at 9 a.m. in Shirley. Same-day registrations are at 7:30 a.m. in the park's parking lot for $30 per person. (Patch)
3. Bring the little ones to dance at the MMS Community Library on Saturday with the "Toddlers Tango." Kiddos aged 2-5 years with their adults can join Ms. Nicole at 11 a.m.! (MMSC Library)
