- Suffolk Police are asking for the public's help to identify and locate a man who tried to break into the Celtic Crossing Tavern in Kings Park on May 10. The security system caught the action at 3:15 a.m. showing the suspect trying to break the door with a shovel. Anyone with information, please call 1-800-220-TIPS. (Daily Voice)
- Students at William Floyd High School had a special visit from Suffolk County Police Department members. Officers taught life skills, discussed various topics, and played games. (WFSD)
- Angels of Long Island in Patchogue hosted a baby formula drive to help families struggling with the formula shortage. The shortage started in February due to supply-chain issues and a recent recall by Abbott Nutrition. (News 12 Bronx)

- Officials announced that Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Community Library would be relocated to a temporary location at the beginning of June as the main branch will be renovated. A $26 million plan of expansion was approved back in 2019. The temporary extension will open on June 6 at 15 Herkimer St. and operate for 18 months. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
- Patchogue Beer Fest returns to Burgerology on Railroad Avenue. The event features local brewers serving in the parking lot with live DJs, raffles, and giveaways. The big day is set for Sunday, May 15, from 2 to 6 p.m. (Greater Long Island)
