SHIRLEY, NY — Even if you didn't get the coveted "Bearista" coffee mug last month, there's still some good Starbucks news ahead for you.
You might not have to travel that far to get the next viral signature winter mug.
The Seattle-based coffeehouse chain is set to open its latest Long Island location at 855 Montauk Highway in Shirley in early winter 2026, a Starbucks spokesperson told Patch.

The chain is "always looking for great locations to better meet the needs of our customers" and staffers "are happy to confirm" the opening.
The new location will open, complete with a drive-thru just east of the corner of William Floyd Parkway and Montauk Highway.

The closest Starbucks locations to the Mastic-Shirley area are Yaphank, Manorville, Westhampton Beach, and Patchogue.
