SoHo's Iconic Milady's Bar Will Be Replaced By UES Favorite Coco Pazzo
Coco Pazzo will re-open in the space previously occupied by Milady's, SoHo's most storied dive bar.

SOHO, NY — Coco Pazzo, the Upper East Side favorite that shuttered nine years ago, will re-open in SoHo in the space that previously housed Milady's.
The longtime SoHo bar Milady's was long seen as a holdout of the old SoHo, remaining as fancy boutiques and, increasingly, chain stores moved into the area. The dive bar closed in 2014, and the space at 160 Prince St., has remained vacant ever since. Now, Coco Pazzo will make its return to New York City in Milady's storied home, Grubstreet was first to report. The Italian restaurant closed its East 74th Street location in 2008, after 18 years in the neighborhood. Pino Luongo, the restaurateur behind Coco Pazzo and other Italian restaurants, had previously announced that he was taking over the Prince Street space before confirming that it would permit a second-life for the previously dead Coco Pazzo.
