As attention shifts to widening global financial inequity, the United States faces long-lasting financial setbacks in its minority communities due to centuries of discriminatory policies. Historical, racially-motivated exclusion has deprived the Black community and others of opportunities for generational wealth creation available to their counterparts, such as residential mortgages. This event will feature expert panelists who will describe constructive initiatives being pursued in business to correct this inequity. Our discussion will focus on learning from organizations that have already started implementing solutions to erase economic disparities through financial investment, community development, and other wealth-building opportunities. Our panelists will then look ahead to imagine how current solutions can be expanded in scope and impact.
