SOHO, NY — A sports car stunt spun out of control Saturday when a driver doing doughnuts slammed into a pedestrian lying in a Soho street, according to police and video of the event.

The red sedan driver was doing spins for a large crowd at Vandam Street and Greenwich Street about midnight when a man running alongside the car fell in his path, footage shows.

Video shows the man, who seems to be trying to film the stunt, falling in front of the car, which sped away down Vandam Street after the crash, police said.
