WATCH: Robber Attacks Man In Manhattan ATM

Shocking surveillance footage shows a robber violently attacking a man inside an ATM vestibule in Manhattan.

NOHO, NY — Shocking surveillance video shows a robber attacking a man after he leaves an ATM in Noho last month.

Police have not identified the robber and he remains on the loose.

The robber approached the 35-year-old victim inside a Bank of America ATM at 315 Lafayette St. on April 27 at about 3:08 p.m., police said. Surveillance video from the ATM shows the robber approaching the 35-year-old as he stands at the vestibule, and then attacking the man as he walks away. Police said the robber asked the man for $100 and began attacking him when he said he didn't have any money.

The robber tackles the man to the floor and then repeatedly punches him, according to the video footage. Police said the robber grabbed the man's wallet and ran from the area.

Nearby, other customers appear to move in and out of the ATM vestibule, and one person continues a transaction at the ATM while the attack is happening.

The victim was treated for minor injuries at a nearby hospital, police said.
