4-Year-Old In Car As Westchester County Driver Arrested On Felony DWI Charge In Putnam County: NYSP
The Valhalla man was found to have a BAC of 0.08 percent, after being arrested in Brewster, according to New York State troopers.

BREWSTER, NY — A Westchester County man was arrested in Putnam County for potentially putting the life of a child at risk, according to state police.
New York State Police say that on Sunday, around 8:48 p.m., a trooper from the Brewster barracks stopped a Ford F-350 driving on Main Street, in the Village of Brewster, for traffic violations.
While speaking with the driver, 36-year-old Erasmo Garcia, of Valhalla, the trooper noticed signs of intoxication, according to police. He was administered field sobriety tests, which he failed, according to NYSP.

The trooper found that a four-year-old child was also in the vehicle at the time of the stop.
Garcia was arrested and taken for processing, where his blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was found to be 0.08 percent, police said.

State police said the child was turned over to a sober party.
Garcia was charged with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child passenger; felony driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction of a designated offense within 10 years; and misdemeanor circumventing an ignition interlock device (subject to court order, operating a motor vehicle without device).
He was released on uniform traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Village of Brewster Court on September 8.
