Brewster Summer Music Series: Lineup Announced

Many local businesses are pitching in to support the popular six-concert series, which starts June 26.

BREWSTER, NY — The Town of Southeast Cultural Arts Coalition announces the lineup for the Brewster Summer Music Series.

The North County Band kicks off the series with its signature upbeat country sound on June 26 from 6:30-8:30 pm. This CT/NY area band opens the door on a wide variety of free outdoor entertainment this summer, held Wednesday nights from June 26-July 31 at Southeast Veterans Park, located at the corner of Railroad and Morningthorpe Avenues in Brewster.

Bring lawn chairs, blankets, picnic dinners and beverages.

Remember, everyone attending the concert is required to carry out everything they brought in, including their own trash. There will not be trash containers on site.

Fundraising efforts for this series began early in 2024, and many local community businesses once again have pitched in to provide the concerts free to the community.

These many community-minded businesses have donated to the Cultural Arts Coalition’s efforts. Sponsoring this Summer’s Event are Guardian Veterinary Specialists, Confident Home, Inc., Ace Endico, Tamara Lanza State Farm Insurance, Suburban Carting, Tompkins Mahopac Bank, Jaipore Royal Indian Cuisine, Edward Jones Financial, Brewster Rotary, General Bakeshop, Air Professional Associates, Jacque's Spin On Music, Rosie Tomorrow's and Brewster Paint & Decorating Center, along with Arborscape, Durkin Water & Propane, Professional Water Systems, HC-Brew, Byram Concrete, Putnam County Savings Bank and Kobackers Market.

The Southeast Veterans Park is easily accessed via multiple transportation options, including a scenic drive along the East Branch Reservoir along Route 22 North. The location is also a 10-minute drive from exit 10 along Route 684. Concert attendees may also find convenience traveling via MTA Metro-North’s Hudson Line to the Brewster Station, as the gazebo is a 5-minute walk away. HARTransit runs a shuttle bus service for those traveling between Danbury, Connecticut and the Brewster Train Station.
