Traffic has become so heavy on Prospect Street on Sundays that the Brewster village Board of Trustees are considering making the road one-way on that one day every week.
The board will host a public forum at Village Hall on March 1 to discuss it.
People have complained to the village about the difficulty in parking and traveling on the street, which runs by two churches, both of which have parking lots.
Wells Street is already one-way on Sundays.

The Board is asking for public input on the change to gauge what the other options may be and the best solutions for traffic flow in this area on Sundays.
All who wish to speak are welcome to do so during that part of the meeting, which will begin at 7:30 p.m. Village Hall is at 50 Main St.
If you are unable to attend but would like to provide your input, please send any questions, comments, or concerns to Village Clerk Michelle Chiudina, at mchiudina@brewstervillage-ny.gov with the subject line: Prospect Street.
