What business are you in?
At Lint-X, we are dedicated to cleaning, repairing, and replacing clothes dryer vent
systems to minimize the risk of clothes dryer fires and enhance dryer performance. Our
guiding principle is straightforward: "Keep Your Home Safe."
How did you come up with the name?
Originally known as LintBusters, we underwent a rebranding journey in 2017. The
change to Lint-X reflects our commitment to effective lint removal, a crucial aspect of
our services.
Why grow a business in this town?
As a South Salem native, my roots in this community run deep. Over two decades ago, I
started cleaning dryer vents from my parents' home. The community's prosperity and its
residents' understanding of the importance of preventive maintenance align seamlessly
with our services.
What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?
Without a doubt, the most significant challenge has been the recruitment, training, and
retention of exceptional employees.
What’s been your proudest achievement since opening?
My proudest accomplishment has been navigating the challenges of recruiting, training,
and retaining exceptional employees—the backbone of our success.
How does your business give back to the community?
While our primary focus has been on growth and stability until now, we are now in a
position to give back. We are actively seeking suggestions and opportunities to
contribute meaningfully to the community. Your ideas and initiatives are welcome as we
embark on this new phase of community engagement.
