Contested School Board Election, Budget Vote Coming Up In Brewster
Four people are running for three seats on the Board of Education.

BREWSTER, NY — The annual school board and district budget vote is Tuesday, and Brewster residents are being asked to choose between four people for three seats on the Board of Education.
Incumbent Cynthia Fox is running, as are Jennifer Carpiniello, Corey Hart and Scott Seaman.
Voters will also weigh in on the proposed $119.58 million budget for 2024-25, which carries a tax levy increase again under the state's cap.

It continues the new pre-kindergarten program and expands technical and business education electives in grades 6-12.
The polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Brewster High School.
