A Southeast man, Nicholas Negro, 35, was recently charged with first-degree robbery for a robbery at 7-Eleven on Mill Plain Road in Danbury, CT, and he is a suspect in the July 20 robbery of the same store. Negro was also charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, second-degree assault, third-degree assault and sixth-degree larceny. Negro was released on a $100,000 bond for a court appearance scheduled in Danbury Superior Court Aug. 1.
This information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
