Police Make Arrest After Argument At Airsoft Game Leads To Post-Game Stabbing

CARMEL, NY — Police have charged Justin J. Pagan, 20, with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with a post-game stabbing at Hudson Valley Airsoft at the Paladin Center in Putnam County.

Carmel police alleged that the Bedford Hills man brandished a knife and stabbed a 33-year-old Mount Vernon man six times in the chest and torso area, also accidentally injuring himself by cutting his own hand.

Both men were transported to Danbury Hospital for medical treatment. The victim suffered multiple stab wounds along with a collapsed lung and was stable condition, police said.

Pagan was released from Danbury Hospital and taken into custody by Carmel Police detectives. He was arraigned by Carmel Town Justice Miller and sent to the Putnam County Correctional Facility on $150,000 cash bail or $300,000 secured bond.

He faces two felony charges: second-degree attempted murder and first degree assault. Fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon is a misdemeanor.
